Photoelectric smoke detector replacement $120
Ionisation smoke detectors are inadequate to detect fire in its early smouldering stages, and instead may only detect fire in its flaming stage, when your family has already been exposed to toxic fumes or flames.
From January 1st 2017 all smoke alarms installed in new homes are required to be Photoelectric only. These are more efficient in detecting smouldering early stage fires, and are a much safer precautionary measure in your home.
